Fiera del Libro San Francisco Receives Io Sono Books for Children


Thanks to Paolo Fraschetti, The I AM Foundation has donated 25 copies of Io Sono! to Elisabetta Ponti and “Fiera del Libro” in San Francisco. Elizabeth is the organizer of the event. Here is more information on this Children’s Italian Book Fair in San Francisco:

Ciao a tutti, vi segnalo la 4 Edizione della Fiera del Libro per ragazzi, ideata ed organizzata dalla “nostra” Elisabetta Ponti. La Fiera si svolgera’ dal 1 al 3 Ottobre al Museo Italo Americano di San Francisco. Consiglio vivamente a tutti di inserirla tra uno dei vostri prossimi appuntamenti da non mancare!!! Cordialmente, Paolo Buongiorno!

Join us for the Fourth Annual – Festa del Libro. It’s your support that has made our event such a continuing success! October 1•2•3, 2011
from 10 am to 6 pm
at Museo Italo Americano – San Francisco
Fort Mason Center, Building C

Enjoy more than 600 Italian language books for children (ages 0-10) carefully selected from 15 exclusive Italian publishers including Arka, Einaudi, Mondadori, Coccinella, Emme Edizioni, Topipittori and more. This years book selection covers a large range of educational topics, design styles, and classic Italian stories.

New for this year! In addition to story time readings of featured Festa del Libro books, children of all ages will be treated to old-fashioned film screenings. Classic Italian family movies will be projected on the “big screen”.
