Catalina’s Skin and Body and South American Secrets Help Support Local and Ecuadorian Youth

Sonoma, CA – Two local shops; Catalina’s Skin and Body and South American Secrets teamed up with The I AM Foundation to gift books to children of The Oak Hill School and the children of Ecuador throughout the holiday season.

Both shops, located in Sonoma, California carried books by local Sonoma authors for the holidays including The I Am Foundation’s Words of Power, The I AM! Affirmation Book, and I Am The Earth.  At Catalina’s Spa, for each book purchased, an I AM! Affirmation Book was gifted to a child at Oak Hill School.  At South American Secrets, a book was gifted to a child in Ecuador for each book purchased at their store.

“The gift of a book to inspire reading, self-esteem and literacy in children is an amazing gift to the children in our community. Especially since the books are bi-lingual in English and Spanish,” said Joanna Ramirez, co-owner of Catalina’s Skin and Body.

Shelby Radovich, Manager of South American Secrets, said “We are thrilled to be able to provide English~Spanish books that empower children through schools and organizations in Ecuador.

Many books were gifted as a result of this collaboration and even more lives will be impacted as the books that were gifted are read, shared, and re-read by the recipients, their families and friends.
