Review of “The Bridge” – The Newest Release in The Love~Wisdom Series

Imagine trying to get from Miami to New York without a map or GPS.

You might look around you and be able to figure out which way is north, and eventually you might come across a sign that points you toward DC and follow it, knowing that it is in the same general direction.

If you’re smart–and lucky–you might eventually make it to New York.

But wouldn’t the whole trip just be a heck of a lot easier if you had a map to guide your way?  And imagine having a friend to tell you about which places you have to try, which places to get out of as quickly as you can–and how to tell which is which!

The I AM Foundation’s latest release, The Bridge by Dr. Marilyn Powers and Steve Viglione, is that map for your life and to help move you forward.  The subtitle is A Seven-Stage Map to Redefine Your Life & Purpose.

The only thing left to add is that this map is applicable to wherever you currently are in your life circumstances.  It will give context and meaning to your past life events, and then offer hope about the future.  It will shed light on how you got to where you are right now, and how to let go of the judgments to find acceptance (and even appreciation) for your current situation.

In The Bridge, Dr. Powers outlines Seven stages that we move through and between over the course of our lifetime.

Stage 1: Enlightenment Through Pain
Stage 2: Developing a Positive Self-Concept
Stage 3: Manifesting What You Want
Stage 4: Bridging the Gap Between Past & Future
Stage 5: The Heart of the Journey–Discovering Your Life Purpose & Plan
Stage 6: Seeking Answers to Life’s Ultimate Questions
Stage 7: Coming Home–Union with Source

For each stage, there are several sections, which offer insights such as as “How You Got Here,” “The Lay of the Land,” Guidelines for this stage, Work to do during this stage, Affirmations for this stage, “The Road Ahead,” and “Questions to Contemplate.”

But The Bridge is even more than a guide to your own journey.  It also includes choice passages relating other people’s experiences (including the Dr. Powers’ own life events) as they transition through life stages.  The stories make the book even more interesting, readable, and practical.

In the words of Laura Beth Jones, best-selling Author of Jesus CEO, “Marilyn Powers has poured heart, soul, and psychology into giving us a map of spiritual progression in The Bridge. This book is designed for those who are seeking a better life – for themselves and the world.”

If you are tired of navigating through life without a map, if you are ready to take a look at how you got to where you are, and if you are ready to get excited about where you’re going, then this book is for you!
