The children are Grade 1 (6-7), Grade 2 (7-8), Grade 3 (8-9), Grade 4 (9-10). They will be receiving their books for gifting to the students in April of 2012. From Arnita Gunn……

JamReads is a service project started by a college student that provides age appropriate books and school supplies to children in Jamaica. Most of the children we serve don’t have access to books which puts them at a disadvantage before they walk out their doors in the morning. We want to give these children the supplies they need to succeed. We need your help because we are college students and don’t have the budget to buy books, but feel a passion to continue our work. We heard about The I AM! Affirmation Book from another program that’s supports children in Jamaica and we’d love to be able to gift them too.
